QUANTITY SURVEY

Manufacturing Quantities are the most basic element of ERP systems with "Construction Project Management" content.

Quantities are taken from the  BIM model in Avinal ERP. We model the projects that come as “DWG” from all disciplines in 3D in the “Allplan” program and take the quantities for all disciplines from these 3D models.

Of course, pose logs in a 3D system must also be created or can be created in line with an international pose system.

Over the years, we have created our exposure logs in “Allplan” according to the “CSI Coding” system. That is, we took the first 6 characters of the production poses from "CSI", we decided after the 7th character, "Dot", according to the variety of the pose.

For example, as you can see in the attached video, we entered the "Quantity" module in sampleproject.

THE IMPORTANCE OF QUANTITY ON LOCATION BASIS

 Room Based Feature in Allplan.mp4

In particular, it has to be an "ADDRESS of the place of manufacture", which must be given in the "Final Account" or "Progress Payment" or "Measurement and Evaluation" purposes in the "Manufacturing Determination" process or "Work Program resource assignments" in architectural projects.
You can think of this as "Location" information in navigation systems.

In Construction Projects, this “Location” information usually has to be “Room or Floor”.

ALLPLAN is a 3D modeling program that can give this "Location" information on the basis of "Room Based or Floor".
In the near future, I think all 3D modeling programs will understand and comply with this requirement.

In an ERP Program for "Construction Project Management", you cannot obtain this metering address, which you will use in all phases of "From Quantity to Budget", on the basis of "Room Based or Floor", or you cannot imagine "ONE CLICK" operations if you have not solved the operation ALGORITHM in the ERP modules with this "Location" information.
